hotel from fairy tale!
I stayed here 1 day with boyfriend. Rooms are designed in traditional style, very clean, very comfortable. In evening is so quiet and air so fresh that everyone can sleep like a baby. Keep in mind that in Dilofo you cannot enter by car, so be prepared to carry your luggage for 5 minutes from parking to hotel! vockica, Osijek
What a lovely place!!!!!!
It's really a charming accomodation. Giorgio, the owner, is very very kind and can suggest the guests all the best opportunities to discover Zagoorian region. Rooms are pretty, sighs are unforgettable and breakfast generous. ciribillis, Somewhere

The perfect springboard to Zagorochoria
Archontiko Dilofou is a homely guesthouse perched above the square of this lovely, out of the way mountain village - one of the lesser known but most beautiful of the 46 Zagorochoria. It is tastefully decorated, with great rooms, some more spacious than others (the best ones include a fireplace and great views of the surrounding mountains). But the centre of the action is the common room/reception area: there you can eat a hearty breakfast, including local pies and other delicacies, you can play board games, enjoy an afternoon tsipouro after a long day on the trail, and learn about all aspects of Zagorian nature and history from Giorgos, the affable owner whose stories and recommendations serve as the best introduction to the region. Charming and calm place to stay
We really enjoyed staying at Archontiko. The owners were warm, generous and they made us feel at home. The breakfast with traditional products was rich and delicious, the rooms were clean, spacious and cosy. The matresses and pillows were amazing and the environment was quiet. Ideal for deep relaxation. We will definitely be back. Mar303, Athens
Superb quality guesthouse
Dilofo is a very small village near Vikos gorge. You park at the entrance to the village and walk approx. 100m to the guesthouse via a couple of small streets. Its very quiet and the streets are a little over grown..but don't worry you are in the right place. Dilofo guesthouse is beautiful and the refurbished building is of the highest standard. Its a credit to the owners. Ian61005, United Kingdom
always a great stay!
I have visited Archontiko Dilofou several times and I must say it is the perfect place to stay when visiting Zagori. It is not because of the geography of the village, which is very convenient. It is because of the hospitality of Giorgos and Dimitra that make the experience so original. Apart from the traditional architecture and decoration, so clean and cozy rooms, great home made breakfast etc, when visiting Archontiko Dilofou I always feel that I'm coming to a place that is like home. 195vickyt195, Thessaloniki
Perfect every time
We first visited Archontiko Dilofou in 2006 and were just amazed by the hotel, the village and surrounding nature. Since then, we try to visit as frequently as possible. Giorgos (the owner) is an incredible person, warm and welcoming with lots of stories to share with his guests over some tsipouro in the courtyard. Dimitra (the manager) is the person that makes it all stick together, always ready to facilitate and inform. This was our first time visiting as a family. Our kids (aged 4 and 6) loved it! Being able to roam the village on their own (while discreetly supervised) feeling safe and in contact with nature was the epitome of their vacation. I would definitely recommend Archontiko Dilofou for any season, with any company in any case! Alex G, Thessaloniki
Comfort, character and the warmest welcome!
Absolutely loved my two nights at this amazing guest house! Where to begin-- it is absolutely beautiful and oozing with character and charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts were amazing and truly hosts rather than owners or staff. They really made my stay in the Zagori special, and despite being alone I felt like I had family right there! Affordable price, too! I highly highly recommend staying here! One of my fave stops in Greece. Nicole L, Atlanta
Lovely cosy room in character-filled guesthouse
We stayed two nights in a lovely cosy room with wooden floors, rugs, a fireplace, and a tiny balcony with views over the slate rooftops at the 475 year old Archontiko Dilofo. We woke up to a lovely breakfast with home made bread and jams every morning. Our host Dimitra was very warm and helpful with recommendations about the region. Dilofo is a good location from which to explore the Zagorohoria Region. Suzie L, Brisbein, Australia

classy, romantic hotel
We stayed 2 nights in archontiko dilofou. The room is compact, very clean, beautifully furnished and decorated and has a warm cosy feeling. So is the Lobby and Dining room. Breakfast was very good. Our hostess, Piros, was overall nice, though a bit distant at times and did not go out of his way to help. A second, older guy (didn't catch his name) was more "into it". Diloufo is charming!, though it has two drawbacks - no taverna (there is one taverna that is closed. actually there are NO services there. But nearby Elati has a great taverna), and you can't reach the hotel with a vehicle (you leave the car in the parking lot at the entrance to the village and from there it's a 5 minute walk up and down stone alleys. charming, but totally uncomfortable with trolleys). Overall - a wonderfully romantic and classy place, especially for couples. screennameJr
Excellent hosts, beautiful rooms and friendly prices
We went to Dilofo for 4 nights and we were two couples. The beauty of the rooms and the village were more than satisfying. Dimitra was there to host us from morning till night. She was very helpful, as well as the persons that own the rooms. They gave us the best recommandations as far as where to go, which paths to walk and where to eat. Breakfast was rich and home made! All four of us were very happy and hope to go back soon! Aggeliki w, Athens
